Hello, I just tried orangefs-2.8.6 and found an unpleasant issue: it adds liborange.so as an alias to libpvfs2.so. The problem is that there is another project named SynCE, containig orange tool (cab file extractor) and liborange library: http://sourceforge.net/projects/synce/files/Orange/0.4/liborange-0.4.tar.gz And I use this package on my some of my systems too.
As a temporary workaround either package's library may be installed to a different location, but I suggest to use a different name, since liborange was taken years ago: liborangefs should do the job. Best regards, Andrew Savchenko
