I am getting ready to implement a new cluster with Myri-10G cards. I

Is that possible? Also, should the metadata server(s) be on the nodes
with the Myri-10G cards rather than on the head node which only has
Ethernet?

Thanks.

Hi Glenn,

Can you give a little more information?

From the above, the cluster compute nodes and storage nodes will all have Myri-10G cards. The head node will not.

You want a PVFS2 filesystem for storage for this cluster. Do you need to access that storage outside of the cluster as well? Is only the head node accessible outside of the cluster or all the storage nodes as well?
