Hi Kyle,
pvfs2-lsplus does work. To test the CVS version, do I need to
recreate the storage space or anything? Or can I just replace all the
installed files and expect things to work?

If this is the same bug I'm thinking of, it occurs as a result of
freeing a couple of weird pointers in the close_connection() portion
of the openib code.
And this has been fixed in CVS.
Can you also verify whether or not pvfs2-lsplus works?

The first two lines are the correct contents of the folder. Things get ugly
after that.
I am running Ubuntu 8.04 Server x86_64. uname -a: Linux msh-new2
2.6.24-19-server #1 SMP Wed Jun 18 14:44:47 UTC 2008 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I downloaded the tarball for pvfs2.7.1 and did the install from there. I
have configured for ib transport. I am using two ConnectX IB cards.
For the record, I don't plan on using pvfs2-ls, but I thought I should
submit a crash report. I have just gotten pvfs2 running on my system, so if
I run into further problems I'll be sure to let you know. :-)
