hi-

I have not tried it with 2.8.6. I was under the impression
that no one would be able to get around to debugging this issue
until after 2.8.6, based on this message:

http://www.beowulf-underground.org/pipermail/pvfs2-users/2012-May/003853.html

Do you believe 2.8.6 has a fix for this bug?

I did verify that the pvfs2fuse solution that Andrew Savchenko is
using does not suffer from this particular bug.
