Hi all, I installed orangefs-2.8.7 on ten nodes and want to use IB. so I configured with --with-openib=/usr --without-bmi-tcp option. After I installed and ran it, there is still the error message:"ib_tcp_client_connect: create tcp socket: Too many open files".
now each node replys with "warning : msgpair failed to ib://nodeXX:3334. will retry: Too many open files. warning : ib_tcp_client_connect: create tcp socket: Too many open files Receive immediately failed : Too many open files." I'm sure that I configure it right with the --without-bmi-tcp option and IB network works fine. so why the problem still came out? I've checked related messages before and still can't fix it.
