Thanks for digging into this and figuring out what was wrong.  Just FYI,
CentOS 7.1 and Fedora 21 work without the fix in trunk.  Somewhere along
the line, glibc was changed again allowing the vanilla 2.9.2 release to
compile.  Go figure!

The OFS development team has not looked into version 4.x of Linux yet, but
we will!
