hi, i have problem with my wintv pvr usb on kernel 2.6.18 (driver in-kernel-tree). i've put firmware (looks-like-successfuly ripped with your perl script) in a proper location, depmod -a has been made, thou after plugging device in nothing is beeing done, except for standard usb-some-device-found-raport:
