Gentoo is really easy now too.

Think i've already published the install procedure on this mailing
list. :-)

Using Gentoo Linux:

1) Select the in-kernel module (according to Mike's Instructions on his
website) and recompile kernel.  The default gentoo provided kernel may
already provide the options compiled in.

2) # emerge media-tv/pvr-firmware

3) # modprobe pvrusb (if needed)

You should now have a loaded /dev/v4l/video0 device. :-)
