Just a quick response, if you're running the Linux kernel on a MAC, it
should as long as there are no USB issues and the pvrusb2 driver is
available within the vanilla kernel, along with all it's other V4L
dependents (ie. tuner, i2c, etc).

Also, the PVRUSB2 simply exports a MPEG2 stream.

Give it a shot.  The pvrusb2 is small enough to take to a friends house
and plug it into his MAC w/ Linux. ;-)
