oops. Looks like this is an old file I captured using the HVR-1950 using mencoder. However, same audio/video codec. Looks like the original files grabbed from the HVR-1950 pvrusb2 device have the following specifications using mplayer output: ---BeginSnip--- TS file format detected. VIDEO MPEG2(pid=49) AUDIO A52(pid=52) NO SUBS (yet)! PROGRAM N. 0 VIDEO: MPEG2 1280x720 (aspect 3) 59.940 fps 65000.0 kbps (8125.0 kbyte/s) AUDIO: 48000 Hz, 2 ch, s16le, 384.0 kbit/25.00% (ratio: 48000->192000) Selected audio codec: [ffac3] afm: ffmpeg (FFmpeg AC-3) ---EndSnip--- So, if I'm not mistaken, the size 1280x720 needs to be down-sized to 704x480 or similar. So, in brief, if your simply using cat or dd to grab video from the pvrusb2 device, you'll need to transcode to a suitable format for making a playable DVD using dvdauthor. Since I won't waste days transcoding anymore, probably best to just burn the original file to DVD. -- Roger http://rogerx.freeshell.org/ _______________________________________________ pvrusb2 mailing list [email protected] http://www.isely.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/pvrusb2
