One possibility: I have this vague notion (from back in the dot-com days when I ate, 
drank, and slept browsers) that Mozilla doesn't handle spaces in URLs as nicely as 
Explorer does. In fact, I think the HTTP spec says that a URL can't have a space in 
it, but Explorer goes ahead and expands the spaces to %20 (or whatever the code is). 
But Mozilla doesn't. So you can have a site work perfectly ok in Explorer and then get 
a 404 error with Mozilla.

I do, hazily, remember having this problem, and I am pretty sure it had something to 
do with spaces in the URL.

But I could be wrong.
