One possibility: I have this vague notion (from back in the dot-com days when I ate, drank, and slept browsers) that Mozilla doesn't handle spaces in URLs as nicely as Explorer does. In fact, I think the HTTP spec says that a URL can't have a space in it, but Explorer goes ahead and expands the spaces to %20 (or whatever the code is). But Mozilla doesn't. So you can have a site work perfectly ok in Explorer and then get a 404 error with Mozilla.
I do, hazily, remember having this problem, and I am pretty sure it had something to do with spaces in the URL. But I could be wrong. Hope that helps. david At 07:11 PM 4/20/02 +0100, you wrote: >Hy > >Browsing google and mail-archive I've seen several mentions of this >behaviour without any real solution: >Using swiki 1.2 / comanche 4.11 on Windows as server one cannot >edit/save pages from a mozilla based browser as client.
