Finally I moved my swikis over from comswiki 1.2 to 1.3, by just copying all the swiki folders including settings & security. Everything seems to work OK except I am having problems with the uploads. I had to replace all spaces in the names of the uploaded files with underscores, in order to make them accessible again (they showed up in the attached list but couldn't be downloaded). As a consequence I also had to replace spaces with underscores in the links (a bit confusing, as these underscores become spaces again in view mode). This is probably due to the new way of handling spaces in filenames. And next I discovered that uploading of files doesn't work anymore. Before taking a closer look at networksettings etc, I better make sure that I didn't miss a required step in the upgrading (is it really that simple?). I hope it is not the return of the upload problem that haunted the pre 1.2 versions on MSIE.
Any suggestions how to tackle this? Hans
