Yes, the VM is different (I used the latest win VM Oct 5, 2002) and No it doesn't help to use SqueakNetFix2.exe. The swiki still silently refuses to do any uploading, neither to a local uploads dir (when creating a new swiki with all settings default) or any remote dir.
I could try to do some debugging, but need some help to locate the actual methods that are executed after pressing the [upload] button on the attachments page.
