Hello,

I run an ISP and recently committed getting Swiki going for a client. I did a baseline install of Swiki 1.3 and Comanche 5.0 and got it running on port 8000 without difficulty. Further, I configured hisBiz.com to serve from Apache, and started in making www.hisBiz.com serve content from port 8000. I followed the suggestion at http://minnow.cc.gatech.edu/swiki/91 but... no luck.

Is there an Apache proxy/rewrite guru in the house? Also, I'm thinking this is really an Apache concern and not a Swiki/Comache issue, because I must serve everything from Apache (and cannot follow the external web server topic from admin/help since I cannot move Apache from port 80 and let Comanche have it).

'nuff said for now. Surely we cannot be the only site that wants Apache to handle port 80, Swiki from port 8000, and all content -- including graphics -- to serve thru a proxy/rewrite scheme. The gudinna example seems limited to a single user and only rewrites a few graphics.

Clues/suggestions? To be clear, I guess my questions are: 1) Can somebody provide a config that meets the above (perhaps poorly stated) requirements? 2) Can somebody suggest tweaks to Swiki to make it behave better when proxied by Apache?

Thanks!
