In Powerpoint 2001 for Mac--I don't know about other versions--choose File >
Save as Web Page. The entire presentation is saved, named <your presentation
name>.htm. 

Opening that document in a browser reveals a frames-based page, with navigation
(links to the titles of the slides in the presentation) on the left, and the
slides themselves viewable in the righthand panel. You can also view by outline,
etc. and step through by slide number.
