How would you all feel about having to put a # in front of AIM chatroom
names? (i choose # because it is similar to a know standard, irc) Here's
the deal. With PyMSN, it's easy to tell the difference between a chatroom
and a user. User's have a % in their name. This is, of course, not the
case for AIM. Groups and screennames can be the same. So, one thing I
could do is make chatrooms work by having you join #chatroom. This would
be the "easy" route.
The alterative is to figure out how to implement chatrooms.aim.example.org
(where aim.example.org is normal aim communications) So you would
groupchat join [EMAIL PROTECTED] and be done with it.
Which would be easier on the end user in your experience?
