I'm a little confused. Let me first ask you this:

Do you have a Jabber server and a couple of transports installed,
configured, and running at work? Do you want to connect locally (from
work) to that server and then get the transports to connect?

In any case, can you get a connection to home? At least that's what I
used to do: port forwarding in my home router and let those transports
do the job. Or you could also SSH home and establish a tunnel.

Greetings!

Daniel and Daniel,

;^)

1) Using the proxy server will most likely work. I need to give it a
shot.
2) > Do you have a Jabber server and a couple of transports installed,

Yes and no. Yes I have an ejabberd server with yahoo-transport
functioning at work. The Py-* transports attempt to connect but stop
short of the corporate firewall. The ejabberd server at home has
PY-MSNT working just fine. When I posted the question I wasn't thinking
about the proxy configuration. Probably because I "forget" to use the
proxy at work most of the time...

Thanks guys!

Adam
