For the protocols that send new mail notificiations to the clients, there
should be an option to ignore them, they can be annoying.

I'm almost positive this exists across the board... well at least on  
PyMSNt, PyICQt, and PyAIMt.  (ICQ might be moot, I don't think it  
actually has mail notifications)  That said, it's set on a transport  
wide level, not on a per user level, which is something I'd still  
like to explore further in the future.
