Awesome! This worked _prefectly_. Patched with no warnings (as you said it would), and showed me the correct away message as well. Thanks! One (hopefully) last message. Can/should I apply the identical changes to the pyicq transport? The person I tested with changed their away message in both simultaneously, but I only saw the correct away message in AIM. I did see their status change to away in ICQ, but not the away message.
