Hi Scott,

first of all, thanks that you bothered to make a patch for this issue.

i have an issue with pyicq-t which throws the same exception than theh
issue you wrote the patch for. the problem is, that i cannot see a few
people that a away. they appear offline to me. so i tried to adapt your
patch, which i think i succeded in, even though i'm not an advanced
programmer.

i have a few contacts on away now, which were invisible to me before.
even if this wasn't the main intention of the patch if i got it right.
it's what it does for me, though. the error messages are gone too.

the problem is, that i have a few (at least one) icq-contact on my list,
which i cannot see anymore. if i switch back to unpatched, i see it
online (better ext. away) and and i am quite sure that this is not an
authorisation problem.

well, i thought it might be my adaptation of your patch so i tried your
patch for pyaim-t and i got the same problem. have you experienced
anything similar? do you have any advice how to solve this issue?

Greetings,

Lucas
