Actually, looking at the PyLint tutorial ( http://www.logilab.org/card/pylint_tutorial ) it says to use --include-ids=<y_or_n> So, it might be actually a bug introduced in it (so, before reporting a bug in Pydev, please ask the PyLint guys whether this was actually expected...).
