Ok, but after you set your colors in your python editor window, you probably
want to make an analogous color change in all the other eclipse windows (PyDev
Package Explorer, Outline, Console, etc...) I have only been able to
successfully
change the colors in the Console, via
Window->Preferences->Run/Debug[+]->Console.
However the others completely elude me. There are no (obvious) settings for
these in Window->Preferences->General[+]->Appearance[+]->Colors and Fonts.

I did notice that Window->Preferences->General[+]->Appearance[+]->Colors and
Fonts[+]->View and Editor Folders has some settings that do affect the
background
colors of the active and inactive tabs (e.g. PyDev explorer and Outline).
However
there is no setting that affects the background color of the body of those
tabs/windows.

Please help me stop pulling my hair out. Thanks,
Tim
