Similar to a previous post, I'm frustrated trying to install Pydev in my Eclipse 3.4.1 (IDE bundled for C/C++). This is on OSX 10.5.5. Before trying to install Pydev, I had installed the subversive plugin (as opposed to the subclipse plugin that I'd used on my previous Eclipse Europa version) and went to the trouble of setting up several svn repos. When I try to install Pydev using 'Software updates...', I get the following errors: Cannot find a solution where both Match[requiredCapability: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.eclipse.team.svn.feature.jar/[0.7.3.I20080814-1500 ,0.7.3.I20080814-1500]] and Match[requiredCapability: org.eclipse.equinox.p2.iu/org.eclipse.team.svn.feature.jar/[0.7.5.I20081029-1900 ,0.7.5.I20081029-1900]] can be satisfied. ... Unsatisfied dependency: [org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl.win32.feature.group 2.0.5.I20081024-1200] requiredCapability: org.eclipse.e quinox.p2.iu/org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl.win32/[2.0.5.I200810 24-1200,2.0.5.I20081024-1200] Following that, I simply tried to download the Pydev .zip and copied it into the my eclipse/plugins dir, resulting in the addition of: org.python.pydev.ast_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.core_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.debug_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.help_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.jython_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.parser_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.refactoring_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev.templates_1.3.24/ org.python.pydev_1.3.24/ However, the Pydev perspective still doesn't appear (after restarting).
