Indeed. That's it. Is there a technical reason for this restriction? It
seems arbitrary.
I use Eclipse to work with several programming languages and I have one
perspective customized for every language and never use the generic
debug perspective. I usually switch seemlessly between writing code and
debugging and perspective switches do not fit into my workflow. This is
the first time I encounter a feature which doesn't work in the normal
language perspective.
