I've solved parts of my problems mentioned in the previous email.

1. Location of the cylinder.

The rectangle is 43 in length and 16 in width;

The radius of cylinder is 0.5; its location was (0,0,0), while the lower
left endpoint of the rectangle was (-8,-8,0)

2.  Unit of measurement

I treat the rectangle as 43 meters in length and the "Uin" as x m/s.
