Sounds like a really cool idea. I would love to see something like that. The only thing I have seen about profiling is the link rene posted.

It would be great if someone with experience could write a tutorial on basic optimization techniques, I know there are many about optimising python, but i am thinking more specifically on dealing with graphics and games. Like for example I am not sure about how to use the profiler on a complex program. I would like to be able to profile my whole game in one go. but maybe this is crazy/stupid idea, i am not sure. enrike
