Yeah, there's a few new things in the next pygame. Mainly bugfixes though.
Here's most of the changes... - blending modes (ADD, SUB, MULT, MIN, MAX). - improved documentation(petes new docs, and over 100 fixes from the website comments). - clipboard(copy/paste) support. - universal binaries for macosx. - better 64 bit, and endian support. - saving surfaces as .png and .jpg. - faster scale, and scale2x. - bug fixes for sound, sprites, fonts, surface, time, transform. - more unittests and examples. Have fun! On 7/13/06, Phil Hassey <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
I believe the next release will have a number of alternate blit modes (such as additive) for surfaces: http://www.pygame.org/docs/ref/surface.html#Surface.blit Phil Peter Shinners <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: On Wed, 2006-07-12 at 16:48 +0800, flyaflya wrote: > I find pygame has no big change many years,I hope it increase more > features, such as "alpha render","additive render",These is very useful > to make a cooI game screen, The SDL library has also been slow with new features lately. Work has begun on an all new version, with support for things like multiple windows. When that is released there should be a new Pygame also with lots of new features. http://www.libsdl.org/news.php ________________________________ Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com.
