Hey guys + gals, I am wondering if anybody can recommend a python ide for me.
I'm looking for something that supports different color schemes as I prefer a white-on-black setup. Up to this point in my career I've been using IDLE with custom color settings, and happily so. It is simple and I like simple. However as I get into more complex code for gaming I need a more modular project-based approach to my codebase so here I am. I don't particularly like Eclipse... seems pretty bloated especially for Python. For a Java developer I'm sure it's great but I don't get a happy feeling when I start it up, and for us game programmers it's all about the happy. I looked at Eric, but it doesn't seem to have the simple approach I'm looking for. But I may make that my first try. Is anybody particularly enthusiastic about their IDE? Anybody use a black-on-white or similar color scheme?
