Exactly the same python executable, exactly the same os.env,
sys.prefix, sys.exec_prefix, etc. It would seem the problem is limited
to a subset of nvidia users. As to what could be "wrong" with my
installation, there really isn't that much, it's more or less a
vanilla ubuntu 9.10 as it comes out of the box with the restricted
driver post-installed.
