Theres no bridge to OS widgets.

For simple widgets like the one's you mention probably any of the guis over
pyglet will suffice.

The one I used most is kytten, http://code.google.com/p/kytten/ which
worked fine but looks a bit ugly with the stock style. (There are somme
newer forks in github, I not tested them
