Hi,

One of the main reasons for using future over six, is that future allows
you to write py3 code and make it compatible with py2, while six allows you
to write py2 code that is compatible with py3. Of course we want to write
py3 code ;-). We can however look into the issues you have with future and
see if we can fix it.
