(I sent this yesterday, but never saw it come back on pygtk-list. Sorry if this is a duplicate) I've been doing a lot of work on cleaning up the refcounting in gnome-python. A snapshot of my current tree is at: http://people.redhat.com/msw/gnome-python/ and ftp://people.redhat.com/msw/gnome-python/ The patch against CVS HEAD is there as well. I'd like to get as many people using this snapshot as possible. An extra Py_DECREF or missing Py_INCREF can go unnoticed for quite a long while before things go awry. If you run into any trouble, don't hesitate to mail me. It'd also be nice if you could compare memory usage of this gnome-python against that of earlier versions.
