In my port to pygtk2, I've encountered a problem with using select_region and set_position on a gtk.Entry. Both tasks cause a DeprecationWarning exception. The documentation doesn't indicate that there is a problem with the tasks.
Is there a newer method for selecting text and positioning the cursor?
