Question: Aren't event.x and event.y always integers?

Actually in pygtk-2.0.0 they're floats. I found this out when
upgrading to python2.3 - it gives warnings when passing floats
to c functions taking an integer.

We have subpixel resolutions now?

Some input devices give subpixel accuracy, such as some graphics tablets (which might also give tilt and pressure information about the pointer). GTK 1.2 was the same.
