Timo,
I wish to freeze the UI, while an operation is in progress.

Anyways, I am facing another problem. Now, while the root window is
frozen, and if I try to unfreeze a child widget - by
"set_sensitive(True) - it does not work.

Is it expected? If yes, is there a workaround?

Thanks and Regards,
Ajay
