William, I was thinking that we should go for a 1.1 release, off the trunk (and rename the 1.x branch into 1.0.x branch). The crypt work I'm doing is pretty experimental and I'd like to do a stable release before merging it back to trunk (and it could take a while anyway). Trunk has been pretty stable at this point.
