Hi,

I did spend quite some time analysing why `hg convert` generates wrong branches and tags and how to fix them.

I discovered that `hg convert` does not remove tags then the tags/... directory is deleted in the subversion repository. I thought about dummy-checking for mercurial and stuff like this. Much, much work to do.

So I tried `hgsubversion`, which I skipped until now. And results are looking promising:
- tags are added and removed as expected, including the commit message,
- branches are converted to named branches
- deleted branches are kept, but closed.

@Raoul Snyma: So your idea of moving to git first should have worked, too. I apologise.

@giovanni: You may want to check it out at <https://bitbucket.org/pyinstaller/pyinstaller> (at this very moment, the upload is still in progress)
