Hi, it looks like nobody answered your question yet, so I'll try.
> mod_search_path = [pymc.__path__[0]+'/gp/cov_funs'] Somebody should be shot for this line. pymc.gp.conv_func is a module, too, so it's dirname could be used instead of plattform-dependent hacks. Even pymc.gp.conv_func,distances could be imported directly. > I think i should write a kind of 'hook file' (and it could be great to > add it to pyinstaller because in the family of stat packages it has a > great place) but have no idea how to start... any advices ? As you are sure, the hidden import in PyMC is the problem, a hook is the way to go. Please see the manual for further description and the PyInstaller/hooks directory for lots of real-world examples. I assume a simple hook-pymc.gp.conv_func*.wrapped_distances.py containing hiddenimports = ['pymc.gp.conv_func,distances'] should suffice, We'd happily add the hook. The best ways to to this would be submitting a pull-request at github. Please use the corrent development version to base your work on. -- Schönen Gruß Hartmut Goebel Dipl.-Informatiker (univ), CISSP, CSSLP Goebel Consult http://www.goebel-consult.de Monatliche Kolumne: http://www.cissp-gefluester.de/2010-11-it-sicherheit-im-unternehmen-eine-interne-oder-externe-angelegenheit Blog: http://www.goebel-consult.de/blog/20041011 Goebel Consult ist Mitglied bei http://www.7-it.de/
