            Hi Alexei,

could you please try development version of pyinstaller
            if there is
            still this issue?

I've tried the development version, and the issue is still
        there.

I've also just tried freezing a simple PySide app, and didn't
have this problem, so it appears to be specific to wxPython.

    Alexei,

I have had similar problems in the past - usually due to me having
created and not deleted a wxDialog or wxWindow - to save time try
running your application from the command line as source - i.e.
python YourApp.py rather than building the exe - do what you
normally do to cause the problem and then exit - if you don't get
back to the command prompt without pressing control-C then this is
    most likely your problem.

Thank you, Steve! You were right! I didn't properly destroy the main frame on exit. Now the problem's gone.
