Hi, I talks to some windows guy lately. He gave me the impression that for Windows, MSI is the way to go. His reason is clear: MSI ist the standard for installing software on Windows, much like rpm/deb is on Linux. Some more reasons can be found in Martin v. Löwis paper about Packaging Python with Microsoft Installer <http://www.dcl.hpi.uni-potsdam.de/home/loewis/msipackage.html>;: win64 support, non-interactive installations, installation through group policies.
