Thursday is the day I have set aside to rewrite the manual topic "Using Hook Files".
I've been re-reading the comment threads on #1393 and #1420 and not getting a lot of clarity. I would appreciate pointers to any code that has been committed that implements the new hooks API. Or, if someone would like to make a bullet-list of important points to cover, that would be helpful. Either way, expect a flurry of pathetically clueless questions Thursday afternoon PDT.
