Hi folks.

I'm working on an app that is bundled using pyinstaller. We're having a
problem on the macOS version.

The app bundles and runs fine.

The problem: If we try to delete the app after it's been successfully
installed, by dragging it from LaunchPad to Trash, it doesn't get deleted -
the icon just moves itself back to LaunchPad as soon as we let go of it
over the Trash icon.

We Can delete the app by bringing up the /Applications folder in Finder,
and dragging to Trash from there.

Apparently this isn't that uncommon on macOS (LaunchPad delete fails,
Finder delete succeeds), but we'd like it if there were a way both could
work.

We're using pyinstaller==5.0.dev0 (from git earlier today, but we have the
same issue with older versions), macOS 11.5.2 (it needs to work on multiple
versions of macOS) and bundled using CPython 3.9.7 (from homebrew).

Is there anything that can be done to make uninstall from LaunchPad work?

Thanks - pyinstaller is much appreciated.
