ok, i believe i have resolved most of the mess - including not realising that __browser__/* and __mozilla__/* platform overrides had also been moved, and putting back the functionality of PopupPanel and DialogBox, which include some important bug-fixes and functionality that the GWT team haven't yet realised are necessary. please could people verify that their applications still compile and operate correctly. thanks. l.
