If I recall correctly, libsoup is not pulled in for gstreamer. Therefore, one will need to verify that libsoup is installed. Note: I have been using homebrew (http://mxcl.github.com/homebrew/) as my Mac OS X package manager. By default, homebrew installed and built the "development" instances of the packages I installed. If mac ports does not, one will need to verify that the correct development packages are installed. --Jeff
