Yes, I am on Ubuntu. What do you mean by "possibly outdated"? Should I not use it? I have pyjs 0.7 installed through synaptic. I find this business of redirecting to instructions on multiple sites that redirect to other instructions elsewhere, and then again likewise--well, it is very confusing...perhaps not for you because you know (and built) the landscape. Really, there has to be a better way. You told me not to use the instructions for pythonwebkit<http://www.gnu.org/software/pythonwebkit/>, yet instructions posted on the github pyjs wiki<https://github.com/pyjs/pyjs/wiki/pyjamasubuntu#wiki-Setting_Up_PyjamasDesktop_Webkit>explicitly state to go there and follow those directions...if you don't want folks to go there, then perhaps that link should be removed. It sounds like a cool stack. I want to learn, I want to help...but I loathe running in circles.
