I agree that a separation might be a good idea. That said,
the widget library, while useful as it is, needs work.
And additional thought: I think that pyjd is dead end. Thing which:
works on Windows, but doesn't work on Debian, works on Ubuntu but
requires downloading some library and compiling it yourself, I don't
believe any of my app users would do such things ...
Having ability to run application cross browser/desktop is very useful,
but I think it should use toolkits like Qt or wxPython (so some of
pyjamas classes would be wrappers on qt/wx classes, in desktop mode).
I completely agree with all this (had it in my message but edited it ;).
To me pyjd has been something of an "emperor's new clothes" thing --
like ... really??
