Hi david, Sorry about the delay I've been away for a week.

Firstly, should there be a pykaraoke/songs directory in the zip file on
sourceforge? I can't see one when I extract it.

Secondly, I think I was using an older version that I got from your
website when you first posted about the gp2x. I've now replaced this
with the sourceforge version but it behaves the same. i.e. blank screen
for a few seconds followed by the gp2x menu.

I've copied the log file off the card and it's contents are:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "pykaraoke_mini.py", line 583, in ?
    sys.exit(main())
  File "pykaraoke_mini.py", line 580, in main
    app.start()
  File "pykaraoke_mini.py", line 225, in start
    self.setupSplashScreen()
  File "pykaraoke_mini.py", line 115, in setupSplashScreen
    manager.OpenDisplay()
  File "/mnt/sd/pykaraoke/pykmanager.py", line 190, in OpenDisplay
    self.display = pygame.display.set_mode(displaySize, flags, depth)
pygame.error: No video mode large enough for 640x480
Exit with status 1

Could this be a firmware issue? my gp2x has firmware 1.1.0
