I understand from Phil that wrapping up C++ classes with Sip is trivial - which usually means that it is far more work than you imagine when you begin ;-). I understand that one serious point is the Unicode integration - Python isn't terribly well prepared for Unicode, and Unicode is a key feature of Qt 2.0 (and one I'm desperately wanting to use, myself).
