I am using PyQt-2.4pre2.tar.bz2/sip-2.4pre3 with Python-2.1
(on Mandrake-7.2).
Seems to work fine (I built python with ./configure --without-pymalloc,
because I tried --with-pymalloc and experienced crashes with and
older pre-version, but I don't know if it is really necessary)
If I remember well, Phil has promised final 2.4 versions for this
week-end.
