I got the ToscaWidgest sample for Pylons running but I had to change a couple of things in the sample's template (lib/base.py & lib/helpers.py). The changes involve pylons.util and pylons.helpers references. I checked the Pylons SVN trunk and I see that there has been some refactoring of pylons.util and pylons.helpers. So I figure that the ToscaWidgets sample author is working from the Pylons SVN code. That got me wondering whether I should be working from the Pylons SVN code too. But, of course, I don't know how close to a milestone the trunk is. Any advice?
Very close, 2 fairly minor tickets to close up, then a release is in order. I'll announce when we're about ready for a release, and hopefully some people will upgrade the the svn to see if there's any bugs we haven't seen in our tests.
I can't see any harm at this point in trying out the Pylons SVN.
